St. Anton am Arlberg:

at the intersection of east and west.

The Hotel Post is situated in the most westerly part of Tirol, close to many places of interest in all directions.

St. Anton am Arlberg is a snowy paradise of the highest calibre in winter, and a hotspot for hikers and climbers in the summer.

But there’s more - St. Anton am Arlberg is a modern holiday resort that has retained its traditional appeal. Hospitality and Tyrolean customs are as much a trademark of the village as its international, cosmopolitan character. And not only does it offer a colossal backdrop of peaks and popular (skiing) mountains, it also has all the comforts you would expect from an international holiday resort.

  • From Landeck travelling south: choose the Reschenpass for a trip to Italy. The man-made lake at the highest point of the pass is world-famous for its sunken church spire. A few kilometres further on is the Italian section of the National Park “Stilfser Joch”.
  • From Landeck travelling south: keeping to the valley road, you arrive in Switzerland. A further 2 ½ hours brings you to St. Moritz, passing on the way through Samnaun (ca. 1 hour’s drive from St. Anton), the duty-free zone with sensational prices for tobacco, jewellery, perfumes and watches.
  • To the west you can discover the inner Arlberg. Vorarlberg opens beyond. Well worth a visit: Bregenz (about one hour’s drive) and its Festival stage, the flower island of Mainau, Dornbirn’s old town centre, the small principality of Liechtenstein or the Rheindelta on the southern shore of Lake Constance.
