Traditional crafts, rows of market stalls offering delicious specialisties and genuine folk music comde together during the last weekend in June in St.Anton am Arlberg for a second celebration of this wonderful event. Visitors can even gather firsthand experience of ancient crafts and traditions at courses and seminars.
Music groups from Tyrol, Vorarlberg, Styria, Carinthia, South Tyrol and southern Germany will be performing at the 12th annual Day of Folk Music in St.Anton am Arlberg. In keeping with the "Getting together, sing, play and dance" theme, they will be playing in the bars and restaurants in the pedestrian zone. "Musica & Artificium" (see above) in an agreeable compliment to the programme.
This extraordinary mountain marathon is taking place in our unparalleled alpine landscapes for the 13th time.
The Brotherhood of St. Christoph is a "Union of Christian Charity" dedicated, along with its' 16,000 members, to purely charitable causes. They have organized an hour of contemplation in St. Christoph.

The traditional Jakobi Run is part of the "Arlberg Eagle Triathlon" and "Arlberg Marmot" events, which demand both courage and strength of its' participants.

Much tradition, folk music and regional fare await the visitors of the annual Parish Fair in St. Jakob am Arlberg on the 26th and 27th July. Furthermore, in Pettneu: 15th Augist; Flirsch: 24th August; Schnann: 7th September.
Traditionally held on the eve of the mountain bike marathon, spectators flock to St. Anton's pedestrian zone to watch this road race sporting highlight: Elite riders deliver exciting duels on a technically challenging and highly visible circuit.
The ARLBERG Giro is already one of the Alpine classics. Over 1,200 participants are keen to put themselves to this test of endurance: How long will I need to conquer the challanging 148 kilometre distance whith 2,400 meters in altitude disdance? Great atmosphere in the pedestrian zone, where the race starts and finishes!
The final discipline in the arduous "Arlberg Eagle" belongs to the bikers. 41 kilometres, 1,400 metres in altitude difference and up to 24 percent gradient - there won't be a dry eye (or forehead) in the house during this epic ride. The extreme athlets both start and finish the race to great applause in St.Anton's pedestrian zone.

The 20th annual star studded Film Festival in St. Anton has been organized again by a committed team. Exciting productions will fill the screens all week long at ARLBERG.well.com, where many of the film makers, mountaineers, and climbers who played leading roled will be mingling with the many spectators.

"Yiiieeehaa!" - After a successful world record attempt in 2012, St. Anton intends to up the bar yet again: Back then almost 1,000 participants line danced for a whole hour to 20 different choreographed pieces. We will be interested to see what happens in 2014.
It is always a moving experience when the cattle return to lower lying pastures after having spent the summer on the high grazing grounds of Arlberg. The animals are herded through the centre of St. Anton an celebration of their safe return includins great traditional feed and Farmers Festival.
